Hope exists because of amazing support from individuals and businesses like yours.
This event brings awareness to the reality of trafficking and offers an opportunity to make
tangible impact in survivors’ lives. RW has been helping adult sex trafficking survivors over the past 11 years
and now we enter a season of growth to help children who have been trafficked and at high risk.
We respectfully ask for your assistance in supporting the important work being done in our community. With your support, we can provide unparalleled recovery services including housing,
therapy, life skills, and more. We truly hope you will consider joining us as a guest to experience the
moving stories of hope.
We anticipate 800-900 guests will attend this year. Donors and sponsors will be
recognized in our event brochures, on screen during our event, on our website, through social media, and in our monthly newsletter.
We know you receive numerous requests such as ours, all for very worthy causes.
We thank you sincerely for your time, consideration and support so that we can help
adult and now child survivors of sex trafficking.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Tonya Stafford-Manning

Dr.Tonya Stafford Manning

Dr. Tonya Stafford-Manning was sold (after a traumatic childhood of sexual molestation, physical abuse, rape) by her mother at age 13 to a man that held her captive for 10 years, ultimately birthing three children as a result of his abuse. Life seemed hopeless but ONE person saw her suffering and did not ignore her. Find out who saved her life and learn practical tools to keep you and your children safe.

During her healing, Tonya had dreams of starting a non-profit to help others become free of human trafficking. That dream became a reality when It’s Going To Be OK, Inc. (IGTBOK, Inc.) was founded in 2014. Because of her dedication to eradicating human trafficking Dallas County has chosen to stand with her and her organization It’s Going To Be Ok, Inc.

Dr. Tonya is a native of Dallas, Texas, with now over 17 years of experience working with women, young girls, and children. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Doctoral Degree of Divinity. Tonya is a Certified Mediator, and a Registered Level Trainer with The Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS). She is a two-term Board Member for Head Start of Greater Dallas (HSGD), Texas Head Start Association (THSA), and HSGD Policy Council. Tonya has also been trained by Texas Against Sexual Assault (TAASA).

She is also a National Community Liaison for Dallas Men Winning Against Domestic Violence (DMWDV), is a consummate grassroots professional and expert in the Domestic Violence Awareness and Human Trafficking epidemic that plagues our world, country and the State of Texas. Tonya Stafford volunteers with, The Prostitution Diversion Initiative (For The Sake Of One.)

Tonya is dedicated to advocate as a voice for women, children, for those silenced by death, and the other innocent victims who cannot speak for themselves.

Tonya shares her story to help others to see there is hope after trafficking, abuse and neglect.
